Forums Everywhere!

Well, a little while ago we saw the unfortunate death of our ismstudents forum.  Oddly enough, this story on slashdot seems to mirror it in a twisted way. Now, the ismstudents site did have a lot of immature, childish flaming and spamming, so they're not exactly parallels, but still.... A bunch of parents set up a forum where they could express their concerns (ie complain) about Charter Schools USA and now the company is threatening to sue them for libel.
All of this goes to show that corporate America should NOT handle our education. Who knows, maybe they'll put advertisements in textbooks.
