Some News, and then some
May. 23rd, 2005 08:54 pmWell, I watched Star Wars. And I am mad at Ewan McGregor, because he's awesome and he got such GODAWFUL lines.
Hayden Christensen would do well to keep silent as Annie and Natalie Portman is hot, but doesn't do the damsel in distress very well.
The awful thing is, I like all three of those actors (McGregor from Trainspotting, Christenson from Shattered Glass, and Natalie darling from Closer and Garden State. And the larger than life billboard ads of her for Kamiseta that grace our city with her cute smile)
I also recieved the Spanish and English Department award thingies today for Achievement or some such nonsense during our Honor's assembly today. But not math, or chemistry, or physics. I'm thinking now would be an excellent time to abandon my goal of being an aeronautical engineer and becoming a bohemian instead. Or an artist. Or a writer, or a publisher... something... exciting that corresponds with the awards I receive.
My beautiful prom date Crystal, on the other hand, thinks it was my work ethic that killed me for those serious awards.
Work Ethic. Pfft. Ages ago, I ripped my work ethic's tongue out and slowly tortured it to death while using it's body as a biological fuel cell. It wouldn't shut up, you see.

Speaking of prom I bought a dress today! It was at this tiny shop called "X" in Glorietta 3 and it's so, so sexy. I have been jumping around all day. X is now my new favourite shop. Also, I have discovered, and am not ashamed to reveal that I am a corset fiend. Really. My dress is like one of those long black strapless gowns that poof out, but cut off around the knees. The top is corset like (makes my life so much easier...) And the bottom of the petticoat has netting attatched to it, so it vaguely resembles something out of a dreamlike carnival setting. An artist's rendition of one.
The designer's name is Vittorio and his website is here. Who knows, maybe he has vampiric ancestry. My dress is sort of like this but not really.

My dad didn't like it. I think he's being overprotective and objecting to his daughter wearing a kneelength strapless dress. What can you do?
