Your'e a robot. You can laser/blast/nuke those motherfuckers out of existence if you want to. Optional, but not required: you can use strong UV lighting in your innards to keep bugs from getting in. Or to kill them for trying. XD.
I rather like the idea of big explosions. I like fire even better. The idea of shooting massive fireballs which shall ravage and destroy everything indiscriminately.... *goes misty-eyed*
