I'd read the story a few days ago and really liked it. If you like him, he's been on <a href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4762320">NPR</a> <a href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4663852>quite</a> <a href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1845908">a few</a> <a href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1785822">times</a> and has very interesting commentary.
However, the most damning single fact of the article is that teen violence is going down. Of course, the politicians and most news networks don't want to tell you this because it destroys paranoia which is helpful to both.
